  Went to this location after waiting 25 minutes @ the location in Norwich. Was greeted with great customer service & our server was extremely polite and well ... friendly! no pun intended lol, the food was speedy & great! I'll definitely be back!!

  With four young kids, Friendly's is an often requested place to eat. I have to say first that our recent visits have been good, with the food meeting expectations, and pleasant service delivered by a team of hard working folks.
  
  There is something odd going on lately though. It seems like Friendly's could be towing a fine line financially. Each visit we run into 'oh we don't have that item today', or oh, 'sorry we don't have any kids cups' and they'll serve the kids drinks in paper 'hot coffee' cups.
  
  Just last night they didn't have chicken tenders, which is no small item to lose from this particular menu. Even if they had the chicken tenders, they probably wouldn't have been served as seen in the menu. The menu displays the kids tenders served on wooden skewers, but the past few visits they 'don't have any sticks.'
  
  Even the portions have shrunk on a number of menu items, but considering that this isn't exactly health food being served, I can't complain personally. I do think some segment of visitors may notice and be disappointed in this change however.
  
  Ultimately our visits have been good, mostly meeting our expectations. We are certainly thankful for the pleasant natured, hardworking employees working there at the time of this review.

  Being a local it sucks that there is a local Friendlys that I have to skip to go to Norwich-town. Multiple times have gone in to the "takeout" window. Sat there at the window while staff looked at me and went back to carrying on their conversation. Tried skipping this and going to grab a seat after not getting service at window mentioned above. Sat and waited to be seated while no one showed up, about 10 minutes or so. Food is good for what it is when or if you do get service. With staff issues noted above no wonder its a dieing franchise. Floor is always slick.

  It took forever to be sat but once we were the service was very good. The food was taste and the ice cream was great
